Intravenous Chelation Therapy?

ONLY SERIOUS RESPONSES PLEASE!!! I wanted to know if any one has ever had this procedure done and what has been the pro and cons for if AND with your experience would you recommend or not recommend this and why? Many thanks!

Intravenous Chelation is something that should be seriously discussed with a doctor… it is no where near to "safe" by any means, which is why it can only be administered by a doctor who can also closely watch your mineral levels.

The thing is, whether Chelation is IV or pill based, it forcibly removes trace minerals from your system… but it doesn’t just focus on the bad ones (Lead, Mercury, etc), it also takes out some of the good ones (Calcium, Magnesium, etc) that you need for daily health. I have heard of people who randomly took a pill-based Chelation because of an article they read and didn’t bother talking to their doctor like the article mentioned… most people that do that could have all sorts of problems. The main problems to consider with insufficient minerals would be bone problems down the line, but also some trace minerals play a huge part in metabolism, brain health, lung/heart health, and other basic bodily functions… you really don’t want to mess around with that without a doctor closely watching the levels.
